We arrived at the Acacia Tree Nursery School Market on the 13th of December 2014, in Chintsa West, just before 2pm. The annual Moonlight Market was starting at 4pm but it takes us about 2 hours to set up our market stall nicely.
We were a little nervous about going to sell at the market day at Tea in the Trees in Chintsa West on Sunday 7 December 2014. We’d sold not one thing at the Gonubie Main Road Christmas Market at the library the day before. We need not have worried, though. We had a good market day (for us) at Tea in the Trees. We took R725. We had a really bad day of sales at the Gonubie Main Road Christmas Market at the library on 6 December 2014. In fact, we sold absolutely nothing. A good few people looked at and admired our craft market products, saying things like “How clever” and “How creative” and “What a brilliant idea” but nobody actually bought anything.
