Surfers Marathon photos that are for sale are taken by the official Surfers Marathon photographers and can usually be viewed and ordered at Pollocks in Vincent Park Centre.

As a matter of interest, for future reference, we’d like to know if other photographers other than Pollocks are allowed to sell Surfers photos, or not – if anyone knows please contact us and let us know – thanks.

Tony and I were only able to take these Surfers photos because we didn’t enter the Surfers Marathon in East London this year, mostly due to being so unfit. We both have somewhat of a competitive streak in us, and pushing while very unfit could be a little dangerous.

Tony (not originally from East London) has done 3 before, and I’ve done 15.

The 2013 Discovery Surfers Challenge was my 15 year old son’s 3rd one, and he finished in a time of 1.45.11, his best time yet.

My younger son has done one Surfers too, in 2012.

I’ll have to fit in a few more if I don’t want my older son to end up doing more Surfers than I have! Yep, still have somewhat of a competitive streak in me, after all these years, and even while so unfit 🙂
