Surfers Marathon photos that are for sale are taken by the official Surfers Marathon photographers and can usually be viewed and ordered at Pollocks in Vincent Park Centre.

For future reference, and for interest, we’d like to know if other photographers other than Pollocks are also allowed to sell photos they’ve taken at the Surfers, or not – if anyone knows the ins and outs of this, please contact us and let us know – thanks.

Neither of us entered or did the 2013 Surfers Marathon, but we aim to do it again next year. Only time will tell if we can fit in enough training for the Surfers, to compete again next year and not take too much strain. We’re both terribly unfit this year!

This year we both enjoyed taking these photos, and supporting the runners as they came through the Gonubie River, and through the Nahoon River.

Taking photos and supporting the entrants instead of scrambling over rocks and sand and tar ourselves does not however give one the true feeling of the Surfers. One has to take part in the Surfers to truly feel its vibe. Well done to all those who competed in the Surfers yesterday, and if you haven’t yet done the Surfers, start training for the 2014 Surfers Marathon now!
