The photos on this page show items exactly as they are. Each item is unique. You would be purchasing the exact item you see. There is only one of it (however we can do our best to make something similar for you if it is already sold).
We do try to mark (as sold) or remove any items that are on this page as soon as possible after they are sold (sold online or at a local craft market in or near East London in South Africa) but it may sometimes happen that we are a little late in marking an item as already sold. Apologies!

Buy or order 3 or more of our BFFs (Best Fishy Friends or Beachy Funky Fish) at one time to get a discount – ideal for if you’d like to resell them in your South African home decor shop or gift shop or South African bohemian or hippie style shop. Each BFF is unique – there are several shapes we may use more than once, but even then the fish is painted differently or decorated differenly. They are quite SMALL – the wood shapes themselves alone are anything from 15cm to 22cm in length, with decorations sometimes adding to that length. We support recycling by using metal bottle caps for eyes or part of eyes, and by sometimes using some tin can pieces we cut from cooldrink cans. Each of our funky fish have a small wire at the back ready for hanging.

Please note that if you would like to order (because we might not have several ready-for-sale ones, or you are wanting several in different shades of colour to what we already have) several of our funky wooden fish, that we do not and cannot totally duplicate a look. These funky fish are handmade. Each one is painted and decorated individually. We mix paint colours as we go along. We use decorating materials that we have at the time. We do NOT try to duplicate the look of one – it will be slightly different. It’s best to fill an order where you’ve said something like: “I’d like 5 in the wood shape of item no… and 5 in the wood shape of item no… but all in shades of blue and grey for the painting, and decorated as you see fit.” Just contact us and explain what you’d like. Or, as long as you have already paid, we can make a few more than you want (like 13 if you want 10) and you can choose your favourite 10 from photos).
